The Prom Dress is Important
I think that short prom dresses just look better on me. I know that we have options of what we can wear, so I am going to try out the short ones before I try on the long ones. My parents said that I can pick out my own dress, and they are not going to nag me to change my decision. After all, I am officially a woman, so I can do whatever I want. I am so happy that my parents are quite supportive in helping me become independent. My friends are all telling me how their parents are still telling them what not to wear to prom. That is unfortunate, because I know that prom should be a night to remember for every girl my age. It is a rite of passage for some, so the girls should really be able to pick out what they truly want to wear.
